His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, participated today in the Joint Ministerial Meeting of the GCC-U.S. Strategic Partnership at the headquarters of the Council's General Secretariat in the capital, Riyadh.
The meeting discussed ways to enhance and develop cooperation between the Gulf countries and the United States of America across various fields. It also addressed the most pressing regional and international developments, notably the situation in the Gaza Strip and the city of Rafah, underlining the urgency of an immediate ceasefire and the need to secure relief corridors for the delivery of humanitarian aid.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Minister for International Multilateral Affairs and the General Supervisor of Public Diplomacy, Dr. Abdulrahman AlRassi, the Director of the Gulf Cooperation Council Department, Anas Alwasedy, and the Director of the North America Department, Shaalan bin Ajl.
