His Highness the Foreign Minister Participates in GCC-Jordan Ministerial Meeting

Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah participated today in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan joint ministerial meeting.

 The meeting was held at the GCC's headquarters in Riyadh and was chaired by the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani.

 Participants in the meeting reviewed the GCC's strong relations with Jordan and ways to boost them in various fields. Discussions also centred on the developments in the Gaza Strip and Rafah City, with participants emphasizing the urgent need for a ceasefire and establishing humanitarian corridors to ensure the delivery of essential assistance, including food and medical aid, to Gaza.

 Participants also discussed efforts to stop the grave violations of international humanitarian law in Gaza and Rafah. They emphasized their support for a peace process and the fulfilment of the Palestinian people's rights to statehood, with East Jerusalem as its capital, by relevant international resolutions.​
