His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister, received today in Al-Salam Palace at the Royal Court in Jeddah, Mr. Rustem Umerov, the Adviser and Special Envoy and Advisor, of the President of Ukraine.
During the meeting, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince affirmed the Kingdom's keenness and support for efforts that contribute to deescalating the crisis in Ukraine, and the Kingdom's support for all international efforts to reach a political resolution to the crisis, as well as the Kingdom's continuing its efforts to mitigate the humanitarian fallout resulting from it.
The Special Envoy of the Ukrainian President, Mr. Rustem Umerov conveyed the greetings of H.E. President Voladymyr Zelenskyy to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince. Mr. Umreov expressed his country's appreciation for the Crown Prince's efforts and the kingdom's humanitarian efforts provided through the King Salman humanitarian aid and relief center.
The meeting was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Deputy Defense Minister and Minister of State , Cabinet Member and National Security Adviser Dr. Musaed bin Muhammad Al -Aiban.
